Dormy Inn Express Asakusa - Tokyo

Great location near train stations, friendly staff, but room cleanliness could improve.

reasonably good breakfast, variety of meals. a balcony and a kettle available in the queen room. location near asakusa with a view at the sky tower, right on the river and the asakusa subway station.

The river view from my room was not only nice but also featured a beautiful balcony where I could unwind and enjoy the scenery, including the Tokyo Skytree and the nearby attractions.

The bathroom had a peculiar bleach smell that was overpowering at times, making it uncomfortable to use, especially in the early mornings.

Good service, I appreciated yummy food.

location: the hotel was not far from river cruise as well as sensoji and tokyo sky tree. before bed i went to kamiya bar for a nightcap, it's a few steps away from the venue. the room with a balcony. could use a balcony and a kettle.

A great selection of goodies for breakfast.

Public baths are ill-scheduled for women!!! Strong bleach smell in bathrooms!!! Room cleanliness could be better!!!

I choose this hotel from previous good reviews and booked the Tokyo tower side room. The view of the river and tower were excellent. Meager bowls of noddles were available on 1st floor from 9:30 pm.

The room was not well sound proofed (no double glazing ) which meant that the noise of the trains clattering over the bridge in and out of Asakusa station was obtrusive. This stopped around midnight but started again at 5:30am. Also the walls were so thin that conversations of one's neighbors was another problem. If you stay try to ensure that the adjoining rooms are occupied by single guests.

The onsen is very nice. Room was small but convenient with a nice bed and a small balcony.

The location is near two subway stations and in a nice area, but if you want to visit other parts of the city it takes at least 30 minutes to reach them by subway.

The river view was gorgeous, and the breakfast spread hit the spot. Loved the free foot bath after a long day, but I wish the women's onsen hours were better. Still, a great find!

Very comfortable hotel. Excellent views from balcony of Sumida river and Skytree. Excellent location, quiet yet convenient. Good places to eat nearby, excellent Japanese breakfast, very friendly staff, good transport links for rest of Tokyo.

Rooms are not huge but this is common to all Japanese hotels - just something to be aware of.

Great river view from my room, but the strong bleach smell in the bathroom was awful.

Great value in an excellent Tokyo location. Easy access to transit, wonderful communal bath facilities, free shoulder massage, foot bath, soba noodles at night. We were wary of our expectations but were delighted with our stay! It is also VERY quiet which was also a nice surprise.

There was nothing that we did not like.

The front reception area (only area to use free internet and wi fi) was very small. However, everytjhing was very efficient and very efficient and staff really helpful
